No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.

Bill Analysis

Summary: This legislation authorizes the fair market sale and exchange for real property between Randall County and Texas Department of Public Safety (TxDPS).

Analysis: TxDPS needs a new facility and Randall County wants to buy the old facility from TxDPS for their own use. The money from the sale will be used in the financing of the new TxDPS facility. This legislation neither uplifts nor offends our liberty principles. We are neutral.
