Summary: HB 1076 would make federal laws in violation of the Second Amendment unenforceable by cutting grant funding to government entities that enforce these laws and making enforcing these federal laws a Class A misdemeanor.

Analysis: Protecting a Texas citizen's ability to exercise their constitutionally protected right promotes individual liberty and personal responsibility. HB 1076 requires the Texas Government to respect its citizens' rights and protect them from infringement by the federal government. TPPA recommends voting YES on HB 1076.
