SB 828 would allow Queen City and the City of Conroe to use revenue from the municipal hotel occupancy tax for the promotion of tourism by enhancing and upgrading sports facilities.
Texas Action opposes SB 828 which would allow for expanded use of hotel occupancy taxes for economic development purposes.
