Relating to establishing a system for the sharing of information

in schools in this state.
No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
SB 1696 would establish and maintain a system to
coordinate the anonymous sharing of information concerning cyber
attacks or other cybersecurity incidents occurring in district schools or open-enrollment charter schools in this state.
Texas Action is neutral toward SB 1696 which does not appear to impact our liberty principles but is likely sound public policy nonetheless.
