No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
SB 1020 would allow a state agency to reimburse a state employee for groceries purchased within the employee’s designated headquarters if the employee buys the groceries the day before or the day when they travel for state business and consumes the groceries while away from their designated headquarters on state business.
Texas Action is neutral on SB 1020.
