Bill Analysis

HJR 165 would submit a constitutional amendment to voters that would expand the authority of the State Commission on Judicial Conduct, permitting them to accept complaints, conduct investigations, and take any other action for a candidate for judicial office in the same manner that they are currently authorized to with an officeholder.
