No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated. 

Bill Analysis

HB 977 would change the deadline by which a person may add a candidate's name for the position of director to the Montgomery County Hospital District. The old deadline was at least 25 days before the date of the election, the new deadline would be no later than the 62nd day before election day. 

Vote Recommendation Notes

HB 977 represents an administrative change for a county hospital district. Texas Action is therefore neutral towards HB 977.
