broadband Internet access program offered by the Texas Education
Agency.
No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
HB 3889 would require that, if the agency establishes a program that provides broadband Internet access to public school students, the agency may not require a student who is educationally disadvantaged to pay any fees or costs for the program.
