Bill Analysis

HB 3394 would permit a court, if there is probable cause to believe a guardian is incapacitated, to appoint an attorney to represent the ward's interests and appoint an investigator to investigate whether the guardian should be removed. The court would also be permitted to appoint physicians to examine the guardian if they believe it is necessary to make a determination.

Vote Recommendation Notes
