Relating to cemeteries in certain municipalities and counties.
No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
HB 3199 would allow an individual, corporation, partnership, firm, trust, or association to file a written application with the governing body or commissioners court of a municipality to establish or use a cemetery located inside the limits of and authorized by the municipality or commissioners court in a county with a population of more than 750,000 or a county adjacent to a county with a population of more than 750,000.
Texas Action remains neutral on HB 3199.
