Relating to the mileage expense reimbursement for certain temporary justices of the peace.
No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
HB 2430 would permit the commissioners court of a county to reimburse any mileage expenses incurred by a justice of the peace serving in the county that is appointed as a temporary justice over a different justice court.
Texas Action is neutral on HB 2430 as it does not touch directly upon any of our Liberty Principles.
