Relating to use of the electronic funds transfer system operated by the comptroller.
This bill would make administrative and procedural updates to the Comptroller's use of the electronic funds transfer (EFT) system for payment of salaries, reimbursements, and annuities. The bill would require the Comptroller to use the EFT system to make payments to annuitants by the Texas Emergency Services Retirement System on the same terms as for other state retirement systems.
Texas Action is neutral on SB 557 because it does not affect our liberty principles.
