Fiscal Notes

No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

Bill Analysis

Under current law, a teacher under a 10-month contract must provide at least 187 days of service. SB 2073 would school districts to reduce the number of required days of service to more closely match the number of days of required instruction for students. This bill would not affect teacher pay.
