Bill Analysis

This bill would create a dedicated account inside general revenue to be used for funding general aviation maintenance and construction in qualifying political subdivisions. 

Vote Recommendation Notes

General aviation infrastructure is funded with a combination of state and federal funds. Because this addresses a transportation issue that is a function of the Texas Department of Transportation and the dedicated fund this bill creates is inside general revenue, we remain neutral on SB 2050.
