SB 2038 would require the Texas Workforce Commission (TWC) to prepare a report that identifies potential funding sources for occupational skills and training programs for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The report would also include specific occupations in high-demand in this state that may be appropriate for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. In addition, the bill would require the information in the report to be published to the TWC website.
