Bill Analysis

HB 2564 would require the director of the Department of Housing and Community Affairs to include in the low income housing plan homeless youth and other homeless individuals between the ages of 18 and 25. This bill would also allow the Texas Interagency Council for the Homeless to seek program and policy assistance from any organization in the state that has a network of providers with expertise in helping homeless youth.
