Bill Analysis
SB 1677 would amend the Government Code to have a state agency that provides a program, service, or assistance to women include in each application for a program, a service, or assistance space to indicate whether the applicant is a veteran, and notice that the applicant may be entitled to additional services because of veteran status. Upon receipt of information, the commission would enter the information into a database and contact the applicant to inform her of any additional services for which the applicant may qualify for.

Vote Recommendation Notes
Application content for programs offered by state agencies neither uplifts or offends our liberty principles, therefore for we remain neutral.
