No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

Bill Analysis

HB 2729 would have the Texas Workforce Commission and the Texas Higher Education Board work with school districts to post careers and certifications that are available for high school students in the technological field.

Vote Recommendation Notes

This bill does not have a connection to our liberty principles, therefore we remain neutral. However we do note that helping provide students with more options on what they can pursue after high school is an improvement of our education system.
