Bill Analysis
HB 1905 would amend the Government Code to allow the adjutant general of the Texas Military Department to appoint multiple assistant deputy adjutants general for army and an assistant adjutant general for domestic operations. The assistant adjutant general for domestic operations would coordinate activities of the Texas Military Forces with the National Guard Bureau to ensure state emergency services are provided and organized to support the state operations center and coordinate with other federal, state, and local jurisdiction and officials.
