SB 892 would make several changes regarding individuals and incoming classes admitted to the Educator Preparation Program. This bill would decease the individual requirement from a 2.75 out of a 4.0 GPA scale to a 2.50, but would require that an EPP incoming class' have at least a 3.0 GPA average. An individual would only be allowed to take the certification exam a maximum of 4 times and would extend supervised field-based experience requirements from 15 hours to 30 hours.
