Bill Caption
Relating to the coordinating workgroups of the Texas Coordinating Council for Veterans Services.
Fiscal Notes
No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
Bill Analysis
Amends Section 434.154(a), Government Code, to allow the Texas Coordinating Council for Veterans Services to make the currently combined health and mental health issues, separate topics.
Vote Recommendation Notes
Currently the Texas Coordinating Council for Veterans Services combines general health and mental health as a single workgroup topic. This legislation would make both health and mental heath topics their own standing workgroup in order to provide more focus into the topics individually, as opposed to the current collective statute that is in place. We remain neutral, as this legislation does not effect the criteria for which we analyze legislation.
