Bill Analysis

SB 512 would amend current code and direct the Texas Supreme Court to develop standardized forms for probate and wills, such as simple wills, muniment of title, and small estate affadavits and make known their availability for use.

Vote Recommendation Notes

This bill would promote individual liberty and personal responsibility by making it easier for individuals to prepare end of life legal documents without requiring the aid of legal counsel, therefore we support this legislation.
