Bill Analysis

This legislation works to reduce confusion in regards to the hours you can vote at mobile voting stations, by streamlining the hours and days that voting at these branches are available, and are to be determined by the authority of the jurisdiction they are in.  The legislation states that no less than 80% of all branches are to have the same hours and days of availability as the main early voting location in the jurisdiction.

Vote Recommendation Notes

We support this legislation, as it helps voters who desire to exercise their personal responsibility to vote, but are constantly confused or misunderstand the availability of certain mobile branches to cast their ballot.  This bill would streamline the availability to vote at these mobile locations, to be consistent with the hours and days the main early voting headquarters is open.
