Bill Analysis

HB 1135 would amend the Education Code to require the commissioner of education to include transportation provided by the district for a student attending a dual credit course during the school day in determining the regular transportation allotment for a school district.

Vote Recommendation Notes

This bill would impose an unfunded mandate on school districts and will increase the increase the overall cost of public education. We oppose HB 1135.
