This legislation woudl create a study through the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT), in conjunction with the Texas A&M Transportation Institute (TTI), to assess the statewide need for the replacement of fallen or damaged mile markers on interstate highways where mile markers are required to be installed under state or federal guidelines.
