Bill Analysis

Summary: HB 928 would make federal laws in violation of the Second Amendment unenforceable by cutting grant funding to government entities that enforce these laws and allowing citizens to file complaints to the Attorney General.

Analysis: Protecting a Texas citizen's ability to exercise their constitutionally protected right promotes individual liberty and acts as a limit on federal overreach. HB 928 requires the Texas Government to respect its citizens' right to self defense which promotes limited government. TPPA recommends voting YES on HB 928.
