Bill Analysis

Summary of Legislation: This legislation permits the Texas Department of Transportation to print, upon request, the emblem of a vetrans branch of service or any other emblem of which the vetran is entitled, on to their specialty license plates.

Analysis: This legislation is budget neutral, fits within the existing scope of TXDoT authority, and allows veterans to display service branch emblems on their personal vehicle license plates. We encourage House members to vote in favor of HB 614.
