Bill Analysis

Summary of Legislation: This legislation directs the Department of Transportation to issue non-expiring license plates for token trailers (also known as semitrailers).  The license plates would not expire until the trailer changes ownership.

Notes: This bill limits government and decreases regulation by removing annual registration requirements and making token trailer license plates valid until the trailer changes ownership. We support HB 511 and encourage legislators to vote YES.
