Relating to removing licensing and fee requirements for certain salespersons who sell or lease-purchase or offer to sell or lease-purchase manufactured housing to a consumer.
Estimated Two-year Net Impact to General Revenue Related Funds for HB3647: an impact of $0 through the biennium ending August 31, 2015. The bill would make no appropriation but could provide the legal basis for an appropriation of funds to implement the provisions of the bill. No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
Summary: HB 3647 would eliminate the requirement for salespersons of manufactured housing to receive a license to operate.
Analysis: We support HB 3647 because it deminishes the barrier to occupational entry for salespersons of manufactured housing and limits government scope by removing a regulation; therefore, allowing more individuals to participate in this occupation. We support HB 3647.
