Summary: HB 1796 would streamline the permit renewal and application process for groundwater conservation districts. HB 1796 would make it easier for districts to approve, renew and amend profits to save all involved both time and resources.

Analysis: HB 1796 would improve the permit process to make it easier, clearer, and less costly. To the extent that this represents a modest reduction in regulator burden, we support HB 1796.
