Bill Analysis

Summary: HB 1382 would remove some of the regulations placed on food vendors at Farmer’s Markets. Currently, some of the rules which apply to food sales and food samples are not applicable to outdoor venues or temporary stands.

Analysis: HB 1382 would limit government regulations without jeopardizing the quality or integrity of the food. HB 1382 would make it easier to follow the procedures and comply with state law.
